1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?

Yes. Profify ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on profify.ca and our mobile application (collectively, the "Services"). By using our Services and selecting your preferences in our cookie consent banner, you agree to the use of cookies as described in this policy.

Functional

4. THIRD-PARTY COOKIES

Some cookies on profify.ca are set by trusted third-party services we use to operate and improve the platform. These may include:

Please note that strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled as they are essential for the platform to operate.

6. CANADIAN PRIVACY LAW & COOKIES

Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) treats cookie identifiers as personal information when they can be linked to an identifiable individual. Accordingly, Profify:

·       Obtains your consent before placing non-essential cookies.

·       Allows you to withdraw consent at any time.

·       Does not use cookies to collect sensitive personal information without explicit consent.

·       Ensures all third-party data processors are bound by appropriate data protection agreements.

If you are a resident of Quebec, additional protections under Quebec's Law 25 (Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector) apply. This includes the right to be informed about automated profiling and the right to de-index your information in certain circumstances.

7. COOKIE RETENTION

Different cookies are stored for different lengths of time:
